Visitors are often surprised to explore this nursery and to discover the extent of the space both indoors and out. The nursery comprises 2 houses joined at the entrance, each with a front conservatory providing ample room in which our children can learn and grow together. Turn right at the door to access the preschool. The house to the left is dedicated space for our babies and toddlers.
The secluded garden is large enough for all our children to explore and have fun. We spend a lot of time out here – in all weathers, thanks to our covered area.
Our after-school children have their own separate base in a portakabin in the garden.
My name is Chelsea
I have been working for Paint Pots since August 2014 (just after I moved to Southampton), starting as a Toddler room practitioner, and a Pre-School room leader and am now lucky enough to have the chance to cover maternity leave as the acting manager of our Swaythling nursery.
I enjoy working with Paint Pots because I believe in our ethos of ‘love, laughter, learning’, something I get to see every single day in our fun and spacious setting. We have a kind and caring team who make every day a pleasure to be here, not just for our families, but for each other too. During my time here, I have also had the opportunity to take part in a range of training which has supported my knowledge in certain areas, such as safeguarding, team leading, first aid and how to expand our children’s learning in exciting and engaging ways – something I love to do!
Please feel free to come and say hello!
