Paint Pots Preschool at St Joseph’s is situated on Bugle Street, in the centre of the city, north of Town Quay and in one of the most historic areas of the city. It caters for children aged 2 years to 5 years.
The Preschool is spacious with areas zoned to encourage children to learn and have fun whilst incorporating a homely feel. The children have opportunities to engage in various activities that include all 7 areas of learning. You will find children involved in enjoyable and purposeful activities. We focus on instilling confidence in our children and provide activities to help understand their own and others’ emotions.
This location has direct access to the outside area enabling children to choose where they would like to play and pursue their interests.

Manager's Message
Hello, my name is Joan - I have worked in childcare for more years than I care to remember! I have a wide range of experience in childcare, over 30 years (ok, I remembered). I have held several positions in Pre-schools, Day Nurseries, Creches and as a Private Nanny.
I originally moved from Paint Pots in Harefield where I was the deputy, to manage Orchard Lane and I have now been here for a number of years.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive setting where children and staff are welcome and we have high aspirations for everyone.
I enjoy working with all children and especially those who have additional needs.
