Welcome to Paint Pots Swaythling nursery
Our Swaythling nursery in Southampton is a wonderfully spacious setting where children have plenty of room to play, explore and grow. Based on Burgess Road, the nursery is made up of two connected houses, creating dedicated spaces where babies, toddlers and pre-school children can enjoy experiences suited to their age and stage.
Step outside and there’s even more to discover. Our large, secluded garden gives children lots of space to be active, investigate and enjoy learning outdoors, with a covered area meaning fresh air and outdoor play can remain part of nursery life whatever the weather decides to throw at us.
Throughout the nursery, our team works to create a loving and caring environment where children feel secure, build confidence and are encouraged to develop into their own unique individuals. For families looking for a nursery in Swaythling or the surrounding Southampton area, it’s a setting with space to grow both literally and figuratively.

Meet the manager
Eleanor
I’ve worked in early years for nearly 10 years, starting as a Level 3 practitioner and working my way up through roles including Room Lead and Deputy Manager to become a Nursery Manager.
I’ve always had a passion for children’s learning and development and love watching them grow into unique individuals. One of my favourite parts of being a manager is working with my team to provide a loving and caring nursery for our children and families.
What parents love about Swaything nursery
Real words from the families who are part of our Swaything Paint Pots community.
Lovely and safe place for our kids. The management and staff are very kind and supportive. They helped me a lot with my two children. I strongly recommend this place.
Reem
Lovely. In all of its aspects. From each individual teacher to the owners.
Jose
From day one, the teachers have been incredibly kind, caring, and nurturing. They are deeply understanding of each child's individual needs and create a warm, welcoming environment where kids feel completely safe and supported.
